Yikes! I’m leaving this week – the Bloomington, Illinois, “Mentor and Student” Opening Reception is Friday, September 9 from 5-7PM. And, I’m flying out just in time to be there! It’s a thrill to be exhibiting with Dennis and the other graduate students. Wait, I’ve forgotten to introduce Dennis French, my mentor; my instructor for all those years in graduate school (checkout his amazing work). I guess it’s time to admit that I’m Dennis’s first graduate student which means that I’ve known him the longest or I’m the oldest. Either way we’ve been in contact throughout the years of our lives – talking about art and life experiences; catching up each time to where we are now.
